ANTI-HUNGER INITIATIVE

“Healthy Kids Healthy Allentown” connects kids and teens to healthy meals all year to impact hunger and food insecurity in our city. Many community partners and organizations are joining to open safe meal sites and build a healthy Allentown.

If you want to take advantage of our meal program, please look at the meal sites below. We have sites located around the community to serve you. Please find the most convenient location. You must be 18 or younger to have a meal, but we encourage parents or family members to join young children if possible. Contact the meal site directly or the Allentown Health Bureau if you have any questions.

Healthy Kids Healthy Allentown is supported by a grant from the National League of Cities (NLC) and the Food Research and Action Center (FRAC) with funding from the Walmart Foundation to help local leaders reduce child hunger in their communities. Meals are provided through the Summer Food Service Program, a federally funded program operated nationally by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and administered in Pennsylvania by the Department of Education. The Allentown Health Bureau is the local lead for this initiative made possible in part by KaplunMarx of Allentown
